How conversations with my Father, who was long ago preparing with his fellow classmates to go serve his country in Vietnam, has really helped to put the COVID-19 crisis into perspective. There is nothing wrong with feeling my feelings. I can’t deny that I feel down about my children missing out on the end of their senior year, eighth grade year and school year. It is interesting to have such a profound perspective shift when I realize that at least my children get to stay home and be bored and watch Netflix.
