Mr. Devin Johnson is a father, a husband, and from just a few generations back, a descendent of black slaves and their white masters. He himself can pass for white, however he knows the importance of knowing his heritage and passing it onto his children. This three part conversation combines intellect, vulnerability, and honesty about what it’s like to be frustrated to see racism still existing and what we can do to help. Suffice it to say, I learned a lot about race relations (and just life) from this phenomenal human!
